Living Word Church
Haiti Programs Director for Coreluv
From the coreluv website: In 2013, after being blessed with a successful career in engineering, Dustin and Heather felt there was more to life. They began seeking God’s calling for their family. That same year, while on a missions trip in Haiti with Coreluv, God’s heart for the orphan touched them deeply. He was calling them back to His purpose for their lives, the call to “Go and make disciples of all the nations.”
Upon returning to the U.S., God began to speak to Dustin and Heather about Dustin leaving his career and pursuing their destiny in Him. At this point, they both committed to follow Jesus no matter where He led them. By God’s leading, Dustin changed his career path and moved to Broussard, LA, where he and Heather also served as leaders in their church.
During this time, Dustin and Heather’s commitment to missions remained, and they continued going on mission trips with their children. At the end of 2018, after training for several years in discipling others within their local church, God spoke again — and at the same time, they received an invitation to join Coreluv. They accepted the invitation.
Since joining Coreluv in 2020 and completing Coreluv’s School of Missions, Dustin and Heather have been dedicated missionaries, alternating between serving in Haiti and stateside. Presently based in Houston, Dustin serves as Haiti Programs Director. Their family, including their children Emma, Isabelle, and Bennett, are living out God’s call as they Defend the Orphan with Coreluv.
